Recommend some good hair products

The posts on wigs and "Hair fu" inspired this:

Can anyone recommend any hair products that help with "hair fu" during performances? Say keeping hair straight? curly? And reducing frizz.

Any recommendations for keeping hair from getting stuck to the back of one neck (and proceeding to then become nasty and crunchy from sweat...yuck yuck yuck)?

Frizz-ease does it sometimes for me, but there must be more and better hair schtuff out there ( schtuff used intentionally, I know it is spelled wrong)

Matrix has a smoothing system that's pretty good. The line is in orange bottles. They have an anti-frizz that you can spray on, and it works.

I use Frutis Sleek and shine.

As for keeping hair off the back of your neck, wear a head band which lifts your hair awayfrom the back. It'll still get sweaty, but not as bad as without.

Have you tried ghd? I have frizzy hair, so I use there straightners and the Thermal Protector for dry, course hair. Not sure on products for sweaty necks, but try what Tahiradancer said using a head band. For curly hair - I mix half mousse and half gel in my hand and smooth evenly through my hair. The curls then have the hold from the gel yet still soft from the mousse. The hair can go abit crunchy from the gel, but once I've slept on it one night it tends to soften it.

No frizzies

try Potion 9 by Sebastian. you can get it at most major department stores and at some salons. It's all natural and works really well.

Ojon products are amazing. Sephora sells them. Pricey, but they last long are natural and they work.
P.S. Sweaty neck: I put some powder on the back of my neck. Or corn starch if you don't like perfumy powder.
