Turquoise & Black Madame Abla-Reduced

Turquoise Blue and Black Madame Abla for Sale- Set comes with bra, belt (attached to blue skirt), a separate sheer, black chiffon skirt, two arm guantlets, and turquoise veil. $400 REDUCED to $375 Reduced again to $350. REDUCED Again to $325.
Additions to the orginal Madame Abla- I added the black chiffon underskirt, black fringe all around circumference of belt, and black fringe on middle of bra. Also, I added an extention to the belt that matches very well and elastic to the inside of bra and belt.

Bra is 35 C. Underbust can go larger or smaller. Bra cup can go larger.

Belt fits about a size 5/6-9/10 with adjustments- fits about 34"-37" upper hip. I have added to the length of the original belt. The current adjustments are a bit too large for me in these pictures. You can add some more fasteners and make smaller.

Belt and skirt length is about 36" long- blue skirt has two slits

Black skirt length is about 37" long w/ two slits (worn under blue skirt in picture)

What's the history of the costume? Do you know where it was originally purchased? I've never seen an Abla like that one.

I bought it from Leila of Cairo. She was selling it for a friend while she was in Seattle a few years ago. Leila had not worn it.

I've seen one Abla very similar except for the diamonte stripes on the bra went straight straight down like those on the belt.

The costume I saw was all black and is still to this date the still most beautiful Abla I've ever seen.

I saw it at the Sydney MED Festival in 2006, while I was walking around with Rahma Haddad (of Canada). I tried to talk her into buying it as it would looked beautiful on her, but like me...not enough money at the time, so we both missed out.

I don't know if it sold that day, but it was Ali from South Australia's Egyptian Bazaar who had it for sale. (That costume was $750aud).

I tell ya, I would've washed dishes for the rest of my life for that black one!
