Today I went to Cresent Moon and bought me some bellydance clothes. I got pants, a top, and hipscarf. I'm posting a link to them so ya'll can see them! A warning though I do look abit big because I've gained some weight cause I got lazy and depressed some over some things that happened but I'm getting back on the program and I'm not depressed anymore, I'm happy! Feel free to share ur comments on what ya'll think of what I bought and how it looks on me!

I gotta say Cresent Moon was a very nice place! Every one I meet there was so friendly and sweet! If any Cresent Moon ladies or guys are out there reading this I want ya to know ya'll are very sweet and wonderful people! And thanks for helping me today!

Love it! The top is my favourite part, although I love the pants too - they'd just make me look like I was about 3 feet tall!

Great choices! Looks like you got Sharifwear. That faux-assuit top is one of their signature fabrics. If so, it is well made and will be great for class or going out. And you can wear it to perform too. I have the Sharifwear red faux assuit tie gypsy top and the skirt in same fabric and it wears wonderfully well.

You look great! Now a word for wise from an old curvy gal--try the top with a strapless black bra for more support and coverage should the top gape open at all. You could actually take a black strapless bra and sew some silver sequin trim along the edges so if it peeks out it is part of the outfit!

Souzan I will try that out, I will have to sew some silver on the bra cause it will show in that back cause to top and bottom part of the top you have to tie..I have some pics of just the clothes and I will post them soon.

The top was the first thing to get my attention then the pants then I went to the hipscarf section and found one that matched good. When I get another chance I'm going back there and buying a veil and finger cymbals. When i wore it yesterday I felt soo good about myself and happy!

Thank you lauren for the wonderful complement!!! I did ask the ladies at the store what they thought of it before buying cause I didn't want to be a bellydance fashion disastar, lol. I do have taste in fashion but I can make mistakes sometimes when it comes to clothes!

Here is what you can do if you want to wear a strapless bra under it. Have your mom help you with this. Put on the bra and the top but don't tie the back (just the neck). Have your mom pin the top to the bra around the sides and back so the bra does not show. Then tie. Take it off still pinned together and either handsew the bra and top together where it is pinned together on the sides and back.
