waterproof mascara remover?
is there anything better than lancome bi-facil for easily taking off waterproof mascara? I was just wondering that as I was de-jezebelizing my face after my gig tonight. I do like it better than anything else I've ever tried, but I'm wondering if there might be some mystery product out there that might change my life forever...

I really like MAC Cosmetics. It is the only makeup I use now.
Try Pro Eye Makeup Remover

This is the link for the one that I use.

i swear by the mac makeup remover wipes.
it seems to require much less rubbing than even bi-facil which was my previous fav.
btw: for mac lover - i think pro dancers can still get the performer discount card for 30-35%? off mac products.
ask at mac store
i got mine by bringing 8x10 & business cards, then signed up for pro discount program [program called "ppid"]. has saved me lots $.
hope this helps

I use the MAC cleanse off oil for my waterproof mascara.
You add a dab of water to the cotton pad that has the remover on it and then hold it to your eyes to let it soak in a little bit. It works great for me.
Definitely take out your contacts first, though. :)
The PPID program is now called MAC Pro and you can get applications online. I think it's like $35 or so to join.
:)

Oooh I'll have to try the MAC makeup remover, it sounds great -- though I use Clinique's eye makeup remover and I like it.

I use Marcelle gentle eye-make up remover for sensitive eyes, it is really good for waterproof because it has oil in it and less expensive than MAC.
Marcelle is perfume free brand made in Canada i dont know if it is distributed in the US.
Baby oil will remove waterproof mascara too.

I use Pond's (could be any brand) cold cream to remove waterproof mascara. It works, it's cheap and it doesn't burn my eyes.

I used to LIVE on ponds, leyla. I'd be in the car after a gig just DYING to get home and smear a big wad of it over my face. mmmmmm... :)
thank you thank you thank you everyone who responded! I went from ponds and baby oil to the clinique remover to bi-facil - no idea why I never thought of MAC as I have a pro card and am a total MAC wh*re. that rocks that it's better than bi-facil!! I'll be shopping soon!

I swear by Oil of Olay foaming face cleanser for sensitive skin--it even cuts through MAC Fluidline but is very gentle on the skin. I've used MAC's makeup remover before and wasn't that impressed by it, even though I usually love all things MAC.

I've tried 'em all and for the money, I like Almay's "Moisterizing Mascara Remover" for about $7 or so - all the rest make my eyes sting or they cost about $20 and I go through a lot 'cuz I wear waterproof mascara and eye liner pencil every day of my life. Oh, and they come in handy pads which is nice for travel. I even have the hubby trained to get this for me when he goes grocery shopping at Safeway!
