Looking for particular cheap hip belt

Earlier this week two of my students showed up to rehearsal with some really cute hip belts. They were made of stretchy elastic string that was sort-of crocheted into a net-like belt. The string was covered in lightweight sparkly beads, and the belt had long beaded fringe. They fastened in one place.

They said they bought them for about $12 bucks at a store in the next town over that went out of business. I had never seen anything like them.

They would look awesome with our student group's new lrose dresses that are on order.

Has anyone seen such a thing, and if so could you point me to a vendor?

I have seen them on ebay, but I think they are usually in Hong Kong so shipping bumps up the price a bit:

I think there was a thread about these a while back, will see if I can find...

Hi - If these are the "stretchy" belts I'm thinking of, MY TEACHER sells them (And she's a Bhuzzer!); just go to her website: www.nilajabellydance.com/catalog You can search for them under "belts" and "Best Sellers".

I have at least five of them: two metallics (gold & silver) and three primary colored ones. They're awesome!

Thank you Zafirah! (she's a fabulous costumer!) Yes, we have lots of stretchy belts! Lots of colors. Silver will be back in stock soon. They are always a hit when I vend at shows. And on a side note..I started a thread about workshop ettiquette a while back... These stretchy belts make GREAT workshop accessories!!! Yay!
