got two of them yesterday for some reason... I like the silver Eman, and the silver costume on teh cover.
Those Rio Sunset versions are hideous (Oriental originals), but I really like the two Rising stars - Garnet Glow and Autumn Rupture - and that pink and black Pharonics on the back.

I think the orange Sienna Skies on the back cover is to DIE for. I want it but I don't have $849.95 to spend.
Runs off and cries!!!!!!!

yes, I like the DVD's and CD's as well.
Dani, I thought of you when I saw the flamenco one. Is Esther Ponce a respected dancer in the Flamenco world. Don't flame me for not knowing.

Ours showed up today. I'm always frustrated as I don't have the anatomy required to wear those utterly drop-dead gorgeous costumes!
My wife does of course, but she doesn't think she'd look good in one. I keep hoping so I can live vicariously through her!

Ahhh I loooove Sienna Skies as well. I'm finding myself attracted to orange-y costumes these days. Maybe it's the fall, I don't know. I'm just hoping I find one at Rakkasah!!!

I really like all the "Chiffon" ones. My favorite (aka the one I can't stop staring at and dreaming about) is the green one, Regal Chiffon.

Sienna what-sit is very pretty. And the Champagne Dreams one in black is very Art-Deco. I wish I could afford that ( and had someplace to dance in it).
I'd love to see the Yellow Bird one in action. I know a couple of Bhuzzers have it... I'm not getting it at all in the photo.

There wasn't really too much that grabbed me in this issue. A lot of the designs just seemed terribly busy and overdone to me. The Oriental Originals just had way too much ruffle going on, I'm just not a big fan of those (the Rio ones nearly made my eyes bleed). I thought the Rising Stars Autumn Rapture was quite pretty, though.

After seeing this thread, I went down and checked my mail, and there it was. I saw some beautiful things, but I'm not so sure about the bird wing motif on a couple of those costumes.

Has anyone heard the Raks Sharqi Vol 3 CD that is listed in the new catalog? It sounds interesting. Might have to put it on my RakEast shopping list.

Reason: shouldn't even *try* to spell after two glasses of prosecco.

wouldn't it be great if you and your wife got matching costumes? yours would of course have to be a custom ordered to suit your "anatomy"
oh, i got it. matching "great loop" costumes and you could have the first "great loop" vest. that would be awesome...and probably heavy
