www.missbellydance.com?

Has anyone ever ordered from this company? One of my student troupe members *waves at Stephanie* ran across the site, and it looks like they have a few nice option for student level costumes, at really reasonable prices. I just wanted to check and see if anyone had bad/goo expeiences with them, before recommending them as an option for troupe members.

I know of four women who ordered the hip scarves and they arrived in a timely fashion and everything went fine with the transaction. I don't know about costumes only hip scarves.

I just ordered wholesale from them and am very happy with the results. The hip scarves are good quality, and although two were damaged, they offered to replace them immediately and pay for my shipping to send them back.

I had a chance to see some of the merchandise ordered off this site (velvet beaded costumes) I was actually surprised to see that IMO the stuff looked nicer in real life than it did in the pictures! Usually it's the other way around. I mean they are definitely not high-end, but for students I think they would be fine.

Also, the person who had ordered them got them in just a few days. But I don't know whether that's luck of the draw or if she had to pay extra $$ to get a rush.

The student group that I'm a part of did a wholesale order of five basic Turkish sequined bra/belt sets last year from them and is planning to order several more sets this year. Hopefully Najla, who actually dealt with the company, will pop up to give more details on her experience. I haven't gotten a good look at the costumes, but they seem sturdy and are certainly very reasonably priced. Make sure you advise your students that they don't come with skirts that can be worn alone, though, at least not the sets I'm thinking of, just those sheer chiffon handkerchief skirts.

No, they just ship really fast!! I ordered my wholesale order on a Saturday night. Monday was Labor day, and the order was delivered on Wednesday!

I´ve ordered from them. They're the same seller known as BESTLIST on Ebay.
I ordered the wholesale sequinned costumes. They arrived quickly, free shipping, and were excellent for the price. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Regards
Priscilla

I ordered from them as bestlist: some hipscarves and some of the sequin bra belt, really sheer skirt and veil sets. Though I though those were deemed as "turkish nightmares"? I'm ok with mine. Did a lot of alterations to make is fit better. Even more after these pictures.

I call 'em Turkish Specials. They're good begginer costumes since the price isn't bad. They sell pretty well around here. Which was what I did with them.
Have to add....with a little creativity, turkish specials can really be spiced up nicely to get rid of their generic look.

Regards
Priscilla

I ordered a lot of hip scarves (needed fast and cheap for some students). the scarves held up well (no flying coins) but were not top quality.
Never ordered anything else though.

hi! The costumes we ordered have held up really well. If you order the wholesale lots you'll most likely need to do some refitting, but they're easy to unstitch in the right places, i.e. straps. As for customer service, they're awesome. We're ordering more costumes for the troupe right now, and needed 16. Problem is, the wholesale lots come in groups of 5 (so, 3 = 15 costumes)...I called them up and they said 'we can give you the 16th at wholesale price, no problem". They've always answered my emails with a phone call within 3 or so hours and are very nice.
