The Dragon's Blood veil that I have is red and black mottled from tip to tail. In the picture it is on the far left. I would say that the red in the veil is true red, but when paired with the black it is slightly darker. If you would like me to send you a close-up pic, please provide your email. Hope this helps!

I don't think you need to send me a close up. I just want it to go with my true red and gold costume and just need to know if it has more red than black in it..overall. I have been looking for something other than a plain red veil for that costume and this sounds like a good bet.

Well, I am looking at the veil right now and am sad to say that it has more dark black and burgundy spots than true red spots. It's more of a Gothic, very dark veil--perhaps not so flattering with a gold and red Cabaret ensemble? It's up to you, of course. : )

Thanks Kim...I might be willing to risk the more black aspect since I also have a red and black Spanish style tribaret costume I was also hoping it would go with. Dark blood red is fine, but I am not sure sure that if there is a lot of burgundy, that would look good. If there is more burgundy than red, I will need to pass. If this is so, it makes me sad, it looked so perfect.
