Know a good place to get printed shirts, etc.?
Hi, I need to get a logo printed on shirts, pants, who knows what else. I usually use cafepress and have been very happy with them but they don't have yoga pants and don't print on the back of shirts.
Any ideas?

I've been happy with my order through Vista.com; they do shirts now, too, in addition to the regular paper products. And what about Cafe Press--Rosey?

If it is just your your troupe locally, call a high school & ask who they use for t-shirt orders. That is how I found the promotions shop our troupe uses! They are great, will print on almost anything, the price is reasonable & they even have a graphic designer on hand to help create something original, should you need help! If it is online ordering, I'm afraid I'm no help! Good luck!

Consider Goodstorm, which is essentially a more feel-good version of CafePress; they do only t-shirts, but I think they have a higher quality of work, overall.

Regarding Cafe Press, they print on the front and back of a shirt:

Click the "Back Design" tab at the top.

If you want to do a bunch of them, I'd suggest you look for a local vendor to do business with. That way, you can develop a relationship over time, do business face-to-face, pick up stuff in person when you're in a hurry, get personalized customer service, etc. Look in the Yellow Pages or search the web for companies who do "advertising novelties" or "screen printed T-shirts".

If you want full-color in small quantities, cafepress or zazzle or someplace like that is your best bet. (I'm most familiar with cafepress, they have special pricing if you order a quantity of 15 or more). The advantage to these create-your-own online stores is that you can set up the product and print even one at a time, let people order directly from the store without you having to set up anything, process payments, ship, etc. The disadvantage is that you're very limited on products available, where your imprint can go, etc.
If you don't need their online store, don't want full color, or need a large quantity then you're better off ordering through someone who does advertising specialties (my husband used to be one). This method offers you the fullest possible flexibility in terms of products & imprint styles available (literally anything you can dream of) and the best price in large quantity.

I've used zazzle and been very happy with the quality. I used cafepress once years ago and wasn't very impressed (but seems their quality has increased based on the number of users). But I have used zazzle many times since. I agree with Lauren that a nice advantage to somewhere like zazzle is that it allows you to have a link to your own store or even just the one item and people can order it that way, saving you trouble and effort.
However, if I'm looking for really nice quality, I prefer screen printing and I've always gone with customink.com. They have great customer service, will work with you to make sure your design is just how you want it (example: they told me some of my type was too small to actually come out clearly. another time they recommended I invert some of my colors because of the color fabric I was printing on). And great quality of course. Oh, and pretty fast too! This only becomes cost effective at slightly larger (20+) orders, but they do have lounge/yoga pants, so if you're printing a bunch to sell it might be worth it. They also seem pretty open to combining orders if you're using the same screen (i.e., 10 shirts of one kind and 10 of another, they'll charge you the 20-shirt price for each type of shirt, not the 10-shirt price).
I've seen that customink also does individual shirt runs as well, but I've never used that service so I can't speak for it. But for their screen printing--A+.

I agree with finding a local screenprinter if you think you will want to do a regular run and want to make sure you get top quality (for example if you are selling garments).
I know a great shop in Oakland, California if anyone is loking. :) Top work, great guys, and they will make sure you get exactly what you want.

I've had a lot of success with customink.com too, and their shirts hold up well through repeated washing/wearing. Plus, their website 'design lab' is really easy to use

I love www.spreadshirt.com, but I don't think they have any pants.
