That black mini on Leila's home page is by Eman Zaki. Did you buy a costume like that or did you purchase the one that Leila actually owned? It seems like a lot of bhuzzers have Leila's costumes. When she was here in Orange County about two months ago, she told me that she sold every single costume in her possession!

it's not a costume per se, but i have a scarf that Dandash gave me. it's a bunch of red fur pompoms. she wore it as a wrap with her red dress that she wore to do her impersonations of other dancers and after the show she gave it to me.

Yes, Carolynn I have seen you wear that fur pompom drape. It looks really nice on you. You had it on in TX this past weekend.

thanks! it's now a mandatory part of my Little Egypt Big Show Attire. i wear it only for fancy BD events b/c i hate fur pieces, but being a thank you gift from Dandash, it has special meaning. she was so sweet. |

Tanya: if you want to buy a costume from a famous dancer, contact Dede at Little Egypt as she sells some of Dina's old costumes and Dandesh's old costumes (that's where I bought Dandesh's black eman zaki mini skirt that she wore for the LA 2005 show). Also, contact Laila (contact information on web site) as she is always selling her old costumes.

That costume looks beautiful on your Barbara. Its a Pharaonics costume. I remember in one of the instances that Aziza was re-doing her web site, for a very brief time, she had that costume on her site and a photo of herself in Amira El Kattan's studio working on that costume!

I just got this one from Aubre of BDSS...this is one of the proofs from the photog...I'm not sure if I like the pic or not yet. But the costume was an almost perfect fit.

You can go to www.emanzaki.com. That's her website, unfortunately, she hasn't updated it in over a year. She told me she was supposed to update it last August, but hasn't done so. Well, you will see all her contact information so you can contact her through the web site if you see a costume you want to order.
