Petite Red Hanan Costume - now $350!

From the designer Hanan Mahmoud in Cairo... I purchased this dress from her directly at her studio. It was suppose to be altered to fit me, but because I didn't show for my last fitting, this costume ended up too big for me up top.

Brand new... never worn.


Red dress with gold and silver detailing and sheer red mesh down both sides.
Bra: 35.5 inches, C cup
Dress: 68 inches long when I hold it up. 28 inches at the hips unstretched
2 matching gauntlets
1 matching headband
No veil included
Fringe contained to just the chest area for a different look.

NOTE: Since posting these pictures, I have removed the fringe from the chest area and the dress looks much better!

gorgeous....I am curious..you said it is petite? but 68 " long doesnt seem petite to me...LOL...or am I not calculating it right? I am 5'1"....

I am very interested, but am thinking it would be way too long...

Perhaps I am measuring the length wrong. I was holding it verticalling by the halter straps. The weight of the beading might have lengthened it some. The length also shortens a bit when it's stretched horizontally.

I am 5', and that's me wearing it in the photo. The hem of the dress hits the floor, but without too much skirt on the floor. So, I think it would fit you.

I can take photos of the back. I was wearing the straps in halter style in these pictures, but I think they can be criss-crossed in the back too b/c the straps are long enough. I'll post more pictures tonight.

great...My only concern is that the top would be too big too....

my underbust is 30..I am a small and soft c cup....

I have never altered a dress...can it be done? easily?

I measured the dress again with it laying down (instead of stretched vertically). From chest to floor, the dress is 46". The bra is detached and can fit around a 34 or 36 B/C cup. I'm not sure. I wear 32B and the bra is tad big for me.
