Ah... I remember years ago when I used to attend troupe practices when my son was a toddler. He loved it (and we were a laid back group at that time). He was too big for a carrier, but he happily perched on my hip as we practiced choreographies. Of course he wasn't on my hip the whole time (he also liked running around the dancers a little when he wasn't off in the corner playing). I'd switch him from hip to hip to coincide with which side we were working movements/focusing on. Talk about a "horsey ride" (not to mention the extra strength training I was receiving). He even got to where he'd attempt to hold/immitate my arm position on his side of the body.

Too bad we never got any photos or videos of our practices with Tom.
