It goes like this ...you say to Eman I'd like a dress..can you design one for a fattish oldish belly dancer in a colour that suits her? And you get your own your very own design. I will get details up on gallery and I spotted very similar appliques on Nour's dress on the Moscow DVd also the draping around hip. But mine is actually a seperate belt.

Lizajuk, you look fantastic in that dress! I now have role model on aging gracefully (meant in only the sincerest, most complimentary fashion, since I intend on dancing to my grave, hopefully of old age!)

Ah ya got me all confused there I thought that when you said "wiggle" you meant Mandy's site, so off I went looking for a gallery. Duh!

I love me new blue skirt btw! Just wish I could have taken off my vest under that top I borrowed but it was a no-bra situation and it wouldn't have been pleasant for anyone!

Had a blast last night as per usual Liz, thanks for organizing it. Brill! Looking forward to the new Cafe Raks doo dah too. I'm sure all our s will be interested in it, will take the flyers to class on Tuesday. xx

The Eman costumes are lovely. The turquoise dress is really nice. Must be a new design since its not on her web site. I love the blue version of the Pharaonic Queen and the multi-colored one, same costume as Randa Kamal from Ahlan Wa Sahlan 2006.

Eman sketched the idea and chose the colour for me at Fantasia last December so you won't see it anywhere else It's ALL mine!!! ( as there isn't a smilie for looking smug) She is always willings to do that.

Awwww, thank you for the lovely compliments guys! I'd put the blushing smilie here, but he looks a bit sad. Hmmm. Anyhoo! The blue Pharaonic Queen I got at Ahlan Wa Sahlan, after seeing it (in the wrong size! Bah!) in the Bazaar at JoY. I had to have it!

Liz's costume was utterly divine in the felsh. I have no dresses and keep thinking I must get one. Or possibly even a bedlah with the same belt style as your dress Liz - it was so lovely! The colour is so you.

Right, I'm off to read the other New Posts and make me presence felt. Woo hoo!

I know what you mean, Eman and I have gone over many designs and sketches as well. That's what I love about working with the designers directly, you can really customize your costume. [quote=lizajuk;6591]
