Thanks a lot ladies, I had no idea that you could grow so much in your late teens and early 20's. I am going to wait for sure.
A couple things to consider as you wait.
The first is very personal- I know a good number of women who have had breast augmentation done (by different doctors and by various methods) and a good number of them experienced at least some loss of sensation. One completely lost sensation in one breast and mostly lost sensation in the other. This same girl experienced a leaking implant and had to go back in for surgery (at her own expense).
One woman when she had them done was assured by her doctor that she would be able to breastfeed. He was very wrong and she was very hurt and angry. There are no guarantees. If you go to a consult with a doctor that promises things that really have no guarantee I'd recommend going elsewhere.
If you DO eventually go under the knife be sure to follow your surgeon's aftercare advice. This will include daily (maybe more at first, I don't know) massage and manipulation of the area to break up scar tissue and prevent it from forming. Even with proper aftercare encapsulation (hard scar tissue completely encapsulating the implant) is possible, but it is less likely.
In time skin stretches- with implants this sometimes means you eventually see ripples from the side / seam of the implant bag through the skin/breast tissue.
There are pros and cons for every method- be sure to investigate them thoroughly on your own, not just taking the word of one doctor.
For example- through the belly button means no scars...but placement is also much more challenging. I know a girl who went to a highly regarded, experienced (and expensive) doctor and ended up with "cross eyed" nipples through this method.
Through the nipple generally means more control in placement, but also severing nerves and milk ducts.
I was thinking about it for a while- why I looked into is so much and asked my friends so many questions. I decided it wasn't for me, but there are women who've had it done and are very happy with the results...so it's a very personal decision.

Go to implantinfo.com. There is a forum there with tons of women who are getting an augmentation or have already had one. They talk about the good and the bad. It's a great website.

Another member of the itty bitty titty committee!!! I wanted breast implants for a long time when I was younger. The funny thing is that I am smaller now than I was when I was 13! (All over, I used to have booty and thighs too!) I will always be bigger on the bottom than I am on top.

I'm 25 now and I've really learned to enjoy my boobs. I look in the mirror and I'm kinda in love with them :) I do stuff when I'm in my costumes because although I like my boobs I do like having the more hourglass appearence when I'm dancing. I do sometimes get frustrated when I wear certain tops, but I really don't think I'd get boobs. They're cute and perky!

Vasha, I just saw pics of you in swap meet. You are very beautiful and well proportion. I really hope you give yourself a few years before thinking about this again.

I can't tell you how many mothers have come to me in tears because they can't breastfeed their babies due to augmentation. (I'm in Vegas, so yes, there are quite a lot of moms who have had this procedure done in their early 20s--so sad). They just never had considered how it might affect their ability to breastfeed...or that breastfeeding might be important to them. At the time, child-raisin was the furthest thing from their minds.

There is a lot of bad information about augmentation and breastfeeding out there. I've personally heard doctors tell moms that it doesn't affect the ducts. Yeah, true, but it does affect the nerves that lead to those ducts. No nerves = no milk ejection reflex. It's sooo sad.

Sorry to rant, but it's one of those sad things that I've witnessed.

Vasha,
I'm glad you are going to wait. However, when & if you decide to do it, let me know and I can suggest a great doctor in our area.

That's so true. I'm not always super-ecstatic about having small ones, but I've gotten better since my teenage years.

Teenage years the worst. Society tells you bigger the better but the catwalks tell you smaller the better and all that other crap you have to fend off whilst growing up......

It's just idiotic!

But I think that making a big deal out of them makes them even more so. It's so annoying. If someone had just told me that I was normal and I was being an idiot instead of going "Oh 15 is SUCH a hard age" it would have been so much better for my common sense!

Send all 14 years off to part time work! I got more sense when I started working and started seeing 'the real world'. Staying closeted at home with Cosmopolitan or at school with all your fellow bimbos is the worst :P

I'm glad you are deciding to wait - 17 is waaaay too young - and your figure will change and you can always make that decision later - it is not minor surgery that's for sure. I was a 34A mabe B on a good day, until I got into my thirties, even having two kids and breastfeeding didn't change my size al that much. I just padded up my costume bras and had all sorts of cute underwear - even though my hips are much wider than my ribcage, that is my body type. Now that I'm "mature" I'm actually more balanced, a very curvey 1X and wearing 38C sometimes D bra. I'm glad I didn't have the surgery - honestly, what's wrong with modest bosoms? Nothing, that's what! Now if they had sagged or gone wonky after I had kids I would have done it, but not just to get a bigger cup size. Well, it is a very personal decision and you may find your perspective will change as you get into your 20's about body type, etc. And, I found it was easier to costume when my bosoms were itty-bitty - now I really have to have sturdy bra straps, no fooling around with those delicate straps like in the "Before Bigger Boobs" time. I completely agree with the posters who said that "every body type has it's costuming issues". (of course, it also helped that I married an "ass man" - I had plenty of that going on).

let's not forget Kanye West's Mom. People have really forgotten the dangers of cosmetic surgery. Is it worth possible death to have bigger breasts? I don't think so.

Vasha, all I can say is that when I saw you dance earlier this month, I was mesmerized by your performance (and that awesome liquid shimmy!). At no point did your body look out of balance to me. But what's really important is how you feel. I agree with those who have advised you to wait until your physical development is finished, but if you still feel the same way at that point, go ahead and fix your proportions then. I had a friend (non-dancer) who had a boob job a few years ago, and everyone gave her grief about it, but she was very happy afterwards to be able to fill out a B cup. She had wanted to do that for years and was very happy with her results.

Wish I could pass along some cleavage to you!! It would help us both out!

But if you must, then wait at least 10 years. Small breasts can be attractive and I agree with the other ladies, you never know what size you'll end up with anyway without augmentation.
I'll join that brigade with you. I'm not flat chested, but a small 34B and I've wanted big boobies for so long now. BUT, I got married and had two children and now I've got all I've ever wanted....a family. To hell with being buxom. I've got to a point in my life where I now don't care what other people think. Being small chested I can wear what I like and clothes fit well. I son't think I would want to be big now. If I want a bigger look I go for the good old chicken fillets. Best of both worlds.
