Any tips or tricks to getting Bella to respond?
Perhaps in a business sense, I've been really polite by only emailing her and waiting 6 months, but now I have more dance opportunities and darn it I want a Bella!
For those that have managed to contact Bella and get a costume (in the right color, size and style for you) what did you do?
Does calling help?
Do they EVER answer email?
Do you have to show them the money first?
I'm not giving up!!! What's the magic key?

It's like I keep saying, you don't choose Bella. Bella chooses YOU.
I think if you don't already have a good relationships with Bella already, it's hard to get her to notice you. I think she has to be in a costume making lull for her to willingly take on more customers. Her priority goes to those that have been ordering from her for a long time, and she's busy trying to keep up with their orders. I think I got lucky when I ordered my very first custom costume from her a couple of years ago. She wasn't too busy at the time, so she made it for me, and I've kept on ordering ever since then, and she's always been really responsive to my emails. My advice is to just keep trying!

Re: Any tips or tricks to getting Bella to respond?
Yes, she is quite the costume Diva, LOL!
I also had to keep emailing her - months to no avail, until she had on her website a notice that stated not to buy from other vendor's who sell fake Bellas. I sent her an email that really got her attention - it went something like this:
I've emailed you several times. (inserted her own words here from her website) I'm sure you're a busy Woman filling requests for your long time - multiple costume buyers, but if you would take a moment to fill the requests from dancers who never bought from you then we wouldn't HAVE to buy fake Bella costumes!
She responded like a grass fire requesting what I wanted and wire transfer info.

Re: Any tips or tricks to getting Bella to respond?
If you personnally know one of Bella's long time clients, she responds pretty quickly, that's how I got "chosen" by the chosen one
"So and so suggested me to contact you for my purchases...."
Try sending her a pic of what you would like and in what color, then asking for how to pay her right away (my friend did that)
I dont buy from her as often as her regular "55 costumes per year" clients lol!!
So paying in full up-front makes her happy and makes me look like a serious occassional buyer

Re: Any tips or tricks to getting Bella to respond?
A couple of friends of mine and I pooled an order and sent in a request for three costumes that was ignored.
I finally gave up and ordered from Paganini.

yeah... but I now have a bunch of bellas!
I sent her an email with all information included, along with pictures of styles that I liked, that happened to be of costumes she had already made for other people.
I had said I'd like in these combination, meaning that if she made me one, any one of those combinations were fine, or thinking she might have one laying around.
She sent me a confirmation for THREE costumes.
What was I going to do? Say no?! That would have been madness!
Oh, when I ordered another after my financial recovery from that bit, she promptly confirmed and made it for me in 4-6 weeks.

I haven't gotten it yet, just placed the order last week. I'm halfway hoping it's not ready until after the holidays, lol.
