Lookie lookie what I got!
This is my Xmas gift from hubby: DianaKirkpatrick.com- Art You Can Wear
One of a kind, made by Diana Kirkpatrick, "Chandra" from the original "Chandra's Dance Emporium." Diana is retired from dancing and costuming, but is now making fine art jewelry. Her stuff is fabulous!

Absolutely stunning necklace!
Let's hear it for husbands with good taste! YAY!!!
Mine has been wondering if he has to "top" last year's birthday/Christmas present (a most excellent boombox complete with professional mike and mike stand - which has been getting quite a bit of use during the last half of this year).

Whats the matter with a flat screen tv? Other than the fact that the gift for you is really...for him.
I'm getting a sword and a tye-dyed 25 yard skirt.

Diana did a trunk show at a Thanksgiving open house our studio director had. I saw the necklace on her display the moment I walked into the room and never looked at anything else. Showed to hubby and he felt it was way too much $$$. So I bought some gold scarab earrings for myself and discovered that Diana had put a 15% off next purchase coupon in the bag. So armed with that hubby said yes. So the next weekend we were at a dance workshop and Diana had her jewelry displayed. But the necklace was not there. I asked if someone had bought it and she pulled it out from under the table where she was saving it for me. Yeah!!!!
I love Pampered Chef. Particular favorites are the baking stones--makes the best pizza crust in the world--and the kitchen shears. The shears will actually double as a can opener if need be.
Check out the stuff on Diana's website: Diana Kirkpatrick- Art you can Wear She has some really nice one of a kind pieces.

Re: Lookie lookie what I got!
That is great! I guess that necklace was meant for You! Funny how things work out. I got lucky too, my husband just bought all the Pampered Chef stuff for the general household and put it all out on the counter this morning. That means I have a chance of getting something more fun!

So did your husband go to a Pampered Chef party? That is how I've got mine--fellow dancers hosting PC parties. Mine would never ever think of buying any kitchen goodies unless he saw something for the grill.

Ooh I like it!
it clearly looks like she had a belly dancer in mind when she designed it.

Re: Lookie lookie what I got!
Oh, I almost forgot another favorite Pampered Chef item--the microwave steamer cookware. Super fast way to cook veggies. I think it is the best steamer I have ever used. And I also use the cooking spatulas all the time too. And the garlic press. And the egg slicer which I actually use to slice strawberries and mozarella cheese more than hardboiled eggs. Oh and the rotary grater with attachable containers. Next I want stone baking dishes. Can't wait until the next Pampered Chef party!

Alrana,
I think it is like Mary Kay cosmetics. You purchase through a distributor. Sometimes people will host parties where the distributor introduces you to the product. Or you could just order directly from the distributor. I would have never bought any Pampered Chef if I hadn't been invited to a party. The distributor prepared food for us using the products and the Pampered Chef recipes. I was impressed with the things they had that really solved some problems and did a better job of it than anything else I had. So I bought some. Then the next time I had an invite to a party I had a better idea of what I wanted to buy. A lot easier than hunting around in stores trying to find things.
Just checked their website. You can also order online. The Pampered Chef, Ltd.

Re: Lookie lookie what I got!
I have a friend who is a distributor and has many people who host parties. My husband went to a party because her boyfriend decided to show her how well a Man could do hosting a party. My husband was the only one who showed up - but he spent so much it was a successful party anyway! It is wonderful quality stuff - the price is high - but it is really nice. You can find alot on ebay - alot of older items that have been replaced by newer styles - save a little money.
Sorry that Pampered Chef has kinda taken over your lovely necklace thread. - Not my intention.
