Bedlah surgery =)

Remember this purple set?

The sequins were starting to loose their color at certain
"stress points" of the costume, and a few of the crystals
were missing. Blue "gunk" had already been removed
by tamrahennatx (thanks again).

So I finally had time to work with this set. I made some
harem pants in a similar purple and bought a pair of purple
boy shorts to go underneath if I decide I need either.
I added new lining to cover the remains of the blue gunk.

But the biggest project was removing some of the
discolored sequins and replacing them with new sequins.
Some were just sewn over top. But lots of hand work.
I also replaced some of the missing crystals with ab crystals.
Jewelery pliers and some glue so they will hopefully stay.

I've started working on this one. Skirt needs to be shortened,
belt a little smaller, and I decided to replace all the lining,
I am also adjusting the fringe for 2-3 missing strands.
more on that one later when I finish.

oy! what a project this purple one has been. she looks like she will make a full recovery.

Re: Bedlah surgery =)

Sewing has alway been my back up job, so if the statistics thing doesn't work out, i just might open "emergency bedlah surgery"
