Topkapi?!

So we are tring to put in a big troupe order to Topkapi, left a few messages on the phone with no call backs, now as of yesterday thier site isn't up. Does anyone know what the deal is?!

Maybe they are updating the site to put up their 2007 collection? They've had the same stuff on there for a WHILE, maybe they are just listing new things?

hmmm, she might be in Turkey at the moment, that's the only time she hasn't answered my calls.
I've been ordering from her for years. Although, I haven't placed in order with her in about 2 years now.....

Yeah I know they are established and I have talked with them on the phone, left messages and got prompt replies in the past.
With no return phone calls and the site down it made me worry!

My experience is that it always takes her a few days to respond. I ordered a costume from her once several years ago, and that is what I remember. Also, she told me that she goes to Turkey regularly as she supervises her factory in Istanbul. I think its something like every two months she goes to Turkey. She does go very, very frequently. She may be in Turkey right now. Try e-mailing her. I've e-mailed her in the past, too. I think she responds to e-mail faster at least that is my experience and recollection. I wouldn't be surprised if your web site is down because they are updating it. She hasn't updated her website it in at least two years.

Actually, the website was updated some time last February with the "all new" 2006 collection. I remember, because we were all pretty dissapointed that the 2006 collection looked a heck of a lot like the 2005 one. So, maybe they are updating and putting the 2007 collection up. They are past due for it!

Yes, that's right and I remember that her all new collection really consisted of just adding a few to the pre-existing collection. It was extremely dissapointing. I wonder if as a designer its difficult to continously come up with new designs?
