Avon??
I should have posted this before I started selling Avon, but.....
Does anyone absolutely LOVE or HATE Avon? Any strong feelings?
I just started selling yesterday, just wondering what experiences you all have with the product line.
Thanks!

I love their Glimmersticks eyeliner and lipliner. I keep the bathrooms stocked with bubble bath and shower gel from them too. Love the skin so soft line. :)

Re: Avon??
Oh, no, I wasn't posting this to sell!!! I just want to get an idea of what people like. If someone asks me a question about a product I like to be able to say if others use and and like it or if something is a waste of money.
I'm also asking just so I know what products I might like to buy.
I do appreciate all of your feed back. It will make my selling and buying much better!

Re: Avon??
I've never ventured past the lotions. I really like them alot. The last two I got were sweet pea lotion and shower gel, than I got the gardenia hand lotion. It has such a lovely fragerance.

Re: Avon??
Sorry, but I'm not a fan of Avon products. Anew causes a burning sensation for me (i'm a pantywaist).

Re: Avon??
I'm not sure I'd like anything that burns when I put it on either. Good info!!!!!
I wish they offered more samples to smell all the different sents of lotions.
I think I'll order the sweet pea first.

Re: Avon??
One Avon product I LOVE is the bug repellant skin so soft lotion. That stuff is great. I used to use it all the time when I camped and now I use it for my kids.

Whatever. I didn't like it and it didn't seem to do anything more than any other anti-aging product, so I'll take the "no burn" stuff I use through Philosophy.

Re: Avon??
Good luck! I have been selling Avon just to family members and a few friends now for 4 years. I have to say that as far as representative support, I am not that impressed because their return policy is just not very good. I haven't had much luck at all with the electronic games and kids stuff.
On the other hand, I feel the skin care products and makeup are high quality. I love the fact that they are made in the USA. Not something that is found much these days.
I know a friend of a friend who is a Hollywood makeup artist and she actually uses Avon and Mark products. She has to hide the labels or put the product in different jars though because her clientel objects if the products she uses are not "high end." The makeup artist says you cannot beat the Avon color products.
So, good luck in your new venture! I have never figured out how to make $ at Avon, but I do like the fact I get discounts on all my mom's and my own products!

The basic Anew cream produces this slightly stinging sensation, although to some people like you could feel it stronger. That means you may need a more buffered kind of alphahydroxies.By the way,Avon with it's Anew line was the first company to introduce the use of alpha-hydroxy acid creams into cosmetic industry.

That is the main reason I wanted to start selling, the discounts on my own stuff! I know that sounds horrible. But I had heard good things about the make up and thier prices are very resonable without the seller discount.

Re: Avon??
Most of my make-up is Mac, but I still love the Avon Glimmersticks (I always pick up a bunch of those when they are on sale - whether I need them or not!) and quick drying nail polish.

Re: Avon??
i like their nail polishes, bath stuff n some skin care...........but though the make-up has improved dramatically, it still creases and fades when i perform, so i stay with MAC n minerals for that...........but then, that's just my skin........i know others that it ROCKS on......
