I'm wondering if someone can give me some more information on Hanan costumes. Who is she/he? Is this person Cairo based? If so, where can i find him/her so i can go spend some money in June?
The costumes are just beautiful!

Hanan is a costume designer in Egypt. She used to be the head seamstress for Pharaonics of Egypt (which is why her costumes look very similar to Pharaonics). Her husband is also a costume designer. His name is Mandoor and he has some interesting designs. You should e-mail Farida in the UK as she can give you the contact information for Hanan as she takes her group to Hanan's studio in Cairo.
I can take you there, as it's not so easy to go for first time. When yo know the place.. then it's so simple. She is good friend of mine, and so nice lady.

We will be at the Nile group festival in June. We arrive on the 15th and head to Luxor in the evening, but then we are back for the 18th opening. Will i run into you at the festival or shuld i just call you when we get to Cairo?
Also, how do her prices compare to other designers?

I can't promise anything about the festival. Better if you call me or send sms. My mobile is in my net page. Better if we try to do the visit as soon as possible when you are in Cairo, because something can always happen etc. I don't know exactly, but I think her prizes are ok.
A teacher of mine just got back from Egypt and said that Hanan has a lot of the mid-range stuff like what you see on Dahlal.com, but that they also pulled out some very beautiful higher-end costumes that she'd never seen elsewhere. She ended up buying one, so she must have been impressed.
