Please help me identify this costume designer!

Ok, I have seen this style bra and belt around a lot lately and I really like it. Does anyone know who makes it? Or better yet, who sells them? This photo I stole from DancingRahana.com. I'm looking for one like this, but black.

Anyone know where they come from?

Yes, possibly Joharah. I considered that myself.

bellydancewithk only has one that isn't sold, and it's purple.

Contact Shayda at The Belly Dance Shop - Costumes, Hip Scarves, Veils...! She had loads of bra/belt sets that style--she travels and vends so all the inventory isn't on the website but I'll bet if you emailed her that pic and your size she can hook you up!

I think they're Joharah. Rahana carries a few, but they are pricier than K's.

Duh, I just realized you said you got that photo from Rahana. She had a lovely mosaic black one that I saw in person last June, and it was up on her site last month...I guess you were just a hair too late!

I have a mint green bedlah JUST like this from K and the tag says Joharah.

Its definitely a Cairo designer, a local dancer/vendor here has tons of these style, and she buys them direct from Egypt.

She doesn't have a web store though, sorry :(

Depending on whether you're looking for an original design, I bought from a vendor in Egypt who has an good workshop and can make almost anything. PM me if interested and I will give you his contact info. His workshop made the yellow costume I have in my gallery.
