Just curious-- who sells these? Is it like a bellydancer's yard sale? Too bad I'm never in Chicago when the good stuff happens But maybe next year.

I can speak to this - Sabah is my teacher! I'm not sure if she's only selling her own used stuff, or has other dancer's things as well, but she tours with the BDSS and has absolutely gorgeous costumes.

it says Sabah's costumes are made by
the up and coming designer Stephanie Kuhr.
I have seen some of Stephanie's stuff on ebay
very nice work.
So maybe a mix of Stephanie's & Sabah's items?!?!?

It is kind of a belly dance yard sale. It's at a belly dancers house named Leila (I think this is how she spells it). She didn't want me to post her address online so you can either call her or email me at Chicagosabah@yahoo.com for the exact directions. This way she will also know who to expect and you can mention what you might be looking for.

I have some costumes for sale including some Hallah Originals, Pharonics, and such. I do not think Stephanie has anything new to sell at this time, but I will check. She had made 5 fun fusion belly dance costumes for a group ballet piece I choreographed that has been postponed from the BDSS show until?

Leila has lots of old school Egyptian and Turkish costumes, pieces, skirts, and fabric. I think maybe one or two of her friends may also be selling.

I think it will be fun time to chat and browse!
