Dude, I'm using everything - the age defying wipes, the age defying toner, the age defying makeup, you name it.

What I really need is an age-defying mirror. (er...full body one!)
Uh....I did it. I went to Target to pick up prescriptions and happened to walk through the Boots No7 isle EACH TIME.
I picked up the
deep cleaning purifying mask
beauty serum and
night firming cream

I will use them tonight...kids are off to Grandma's for the evening, perfect time alone for my first 'spa night' at home. I can't wait.
If I really like it, I will pick up the dermabrasion stuff,
etc... I'm excited. I figured after the medical leave, I needed a pick me up. How perfect.
I had a hard time deciding if I wanted age-defying or restoring/renewing...grrr.......still not sure. Isn't it really the same thing?

age

Well, I think you're still in your early 30s right? that's probably more of the restore renew category rather than age defy....I was confused what to buy too - I needed the most maximum age stuff because I'm nearing 50.

I think the way that Boots is organized at Target there are 3 lines - one for younger, then the middle, then the older ..

Well evidently, according to the media it's the protect and perfect that all the fuss is about but all the R&R is still thin on the ground and... I went to get their calm down lotion and that had all gone. I use it to try to keep the red flush effect at bay and went to get some for my mum and lo none there. The P&P and R&R serum are just their concentrated day cream. I have only been using my little serum tube spraringly but I stared using a little more of my usual day cream now I got to 60 and lo, zits!!!!!!!!!!! Aerghhhhh so it's back to just a dollop.

May I offer, as an older lady with few wrinkles ( 'cos folks keep saying why don't you have that many and this is all I can think of beyond my genes) this advice:
1. No soap on face except in emergencies.
2. No smoking
3. Sunglasses at the slightest hint of the yellow orb
4. Find a that face cream to suit and use it at least from early thirties.
5. DO NOT sunbathe
6. DO not diet drastically unless the doctor tells you to. Gently does it!
7. Water!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I am asking for advice on slimming without wrinkling.!!!!!!!!!

I'd agree and add a few more to those:
8 - High SPF sunscreen at ALL times...make sure it protects against UVA and UVB. Yes, the sun can damage you even during winter.
9 - just say no to sun beds. You CAN damage your skin even on a sunbed.

I got the samples at Target. I hate the smell and one of the samples burned my skin when I put it on.

Definitely not the product for me!

Yes, it's not for everyone. There are reports of folks getting rashes and breaking out over here.I only use the tiniest bit on the frwon lines and crows feet and think I'll stick with the day cream not the serum.

Is your skin particularly sensitive? I haven't managed to get hold of it yet, but my skin and hair are fairly buffalo-like in that they will take quite a beating so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a rash-free success story, once I manage to get hold of the stuff.

My skin is really sensitive and a lot of products give me a burning sensation. I get contact dermatitis on my hands from my jewelry, even the expensive stuff. My husband gave me a beautiful diamond eternity band--and it makes my skin crack and peel.

That's strange - my skin generally isn't sensitive but whenever I wear gold my skin turns blue-green, and it only tends to happen when I'm hormonal. Not all over like, just where the gold is (hahaha nearly became an Umpa-Lumpa then)!

I think I'll still risk it, worth a try if it's as good as people are saying.

It sounds like most people love the stuff. I think I am definitely the weird one! Most night creams cause my skin to cry, so I use a lot of unscented super gentle stuff--dove soap, oil of olay sensitive skin for day, Philosophy products.

A solution might be to donate your gold to me as I have no such problemos

Been using that little sample and yes the skin feels softer and those lines look a little less deep.
The R&R has disappeared from Boots shelves to be repackaged I'm told but I managed to buy some on eBay from the US!! And at a normal price!!!!!!!!!
I also bought P&P from Boots on line as I missed a local delivery by 5 minutes.
Then I bought Age rewind serum from ebay UK for the normal price ( you gotta give the gal marks for trying!!)
because why????
A leaflet from Boots:
P&P if for your 30s!
R&R is for your 40s!!
Age Rewind is for your 50s!!!
And just having passed 60, I though I'd better have the lot!!!!

I've been slathering the P&P on for about 4 weeks or so, and am sorry to say, I havent noticed any difference at all. sigh. I also have sensitive skin, and its caused no problems. This isnt going to make me give up, oh no, I shall keep trying, until my dying last wrinkled breath is out.
