No 7 Refresh and Rewind Intensive serum UK

I've been using this sister product to the revolutionary Protect and Perfect serum from No. 7, and it's fantastic. It does work!!! The first anti aging cream that makes your skin come alive. For those outside the UK, this cream has been in all the papers and media as being scientifically proven to work. And it does. My skin is so soft, and looks great. I'm hooked. Not been able to get my hands on P and P, but now this one has sold out too.

Alfalfa Extract, Oligopeptides, Tetrapeptides and White Lupin Peptides and Larch Extract...to name a few. There's been manic buying here in the UK...shelves are empty and waiting lists are growing. Insane. But it is one of the best serums I've used, and yes, it's manufactured by Boots. Apparently it's the first anti aging cream to get the thumbs up from scientists who are independent of the beauty industry. They've done trials and found it improves skin texture and wipes out wrinkles in just 4 weeks. I'm on week 2, and it's made a difference already.

Hey Kharis - nice one for sharing this, I'm going to try to get some! I tend to live in a bubble and hadn't even heard of it!

My secret anti-ageing trick (that isn't much of a secret!) is a Cleo machine (www.club-cleo.com). It's a bit pricey but it really does work. Electronic face lift that tones the underlying muscles - in a different way than most machines. It was developed by someone who was treating patients with Bells Palsy etc and got such good results they put it on the market for cosmetic use.

It is a complete chore sticking the stickers on your face each day, but once you get the habit it's OK. And it does work. Just don't answer the door with it on or you'll freak out the postman.

That's interesting - I was just looking for it on eBay and came across something called "Refine and Rewind" - the one you found is called "Restore and Rewind" and Kharis's is called "Refresh and Rewind". Guess all we have to do now is decide whether to be refined, restored or refreshed!

wow!

I'm tired of searching for anti-aging stuff that really helps. Thanks for the tip.
Hopefully Target is open today (easter) so I can check this out!

I'm usually quite sceptical about all this as the only thing in the past that worked was laser (other things I've tried have been various lotions and potions and even acid peels) but I'm sooooo getting a tub of this stuff and giving it a go. Thanks for the rec.

It looks like there are two products that do similar things:

Protect and Perfect
http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1068 272&classificationid=1046799

Refine and Rewind
http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/...tionid=1031587

I'm hoping that there will be some of either on the shelf at my local shop when I go into town - it takes a lot longer for excitement about a product to cause problems in rural North Devon!

Yippee!

I pretty much bought out the Boots counter at Target today.

No. 7 Refine & Rewind
No. 7 Lifting and Firming Night Cream
Complexing Refinining Day Moisturizer
Soothing Eye Base & Eye Shadows
Tinted Moisturizer (in lieu of foundation)
Cover stick
In Shower Facial Scrub
Toner
and Time Diminishing facial cleansing pads.

I LOVE these products. They smell so nice. Sort of reminds me of Aveda products but without the expense - all that stuff above was about $100 or so. Remarkable for skin care!

Thanks for the tip ladies - I hope it works!

tee hee ..it's small but then I haven't got that many wrinkles so with a bit of luck I should look like a twelve year old in 2 weeks ...er no I was spotty when I was twelve...... twenty five will do....

thanks everyone

I am LOVING these products - thanks to all of U.K.ers who brought this up.
My skin feels so soft. I don't know about the wrinkles yet as I just started a week ago, but my skin definitely looks better and more glowy!

oh mish mish

grrrlllllll -- I am barely using a teeny dollop every day and my tube of light foundation is gonna last at least a month or two. (I think the foundation I bought was $9/tube)

I'm a total convert - it smells so good - all their products do.

On sale this week at Target for $14.99 - No. 7 Refine & Rewind. Some other Boots products are on sale, too.

I have been very happy with my Mary Kay items. Has anyone tried MK? If so, do you like this R & R better?

After reading this thread I saw Boots at my local CVS and had to try it. All they had was the Restore and Renew, they were out of Refine and Rewind. I generally like the feeling of it, but I haven't used it long enough to see if there are any dramatic effects. I've been using the Dr. Perricone products for several years and found those to be pretty effective so I'm hooked on them, but they're danged expensive. It's my splurge - though they do last a pretty long time.

One thing I noticed with the Restore and Renew is that it seems to leave a little silky film on the surface of my skin, and I'm wondering if that is what creates a more matte, smooth appearance to the skin. Did anyone else notice this? It doesn't all absorb in, there is definitely a film on the surface.

Has anyone tried Restore and Renew and Refine and Rewind both, and can comment on the difference between the two?
