Log In Trouble? Please Read!
Log in troubles and error messages on this site come from one of these 3 reasons.
1. You have two accounts with the same email address. One of these accounts will have to be deleted. Send me a PM and I will get remove one of the accounts.
2. Your user name or password have something other than a simple letter or number in them.
This site doesn't like things like *%$#, or umlauts or non-english language symbols in user names and passwords. If your UN or PW has something like ths, and you are having trouble, you should start a new account, send me a PM (click on my avatar) and I will get you credit for your previous number of Forum posts.
3. You have old cookies that are gumming up the works.
Clear your cookies and temporary (chached) files. and reboot your computer. This is something you should do regularly to keep your computer in good shape. This cures lots of problems in general.
f you use Internet Explorer, you can download this neat little utlity to do
the work for you www.microsoft.com/clearcache

I've done that yet every time I go to either settings or my bhuz it just links me straight back to sign in. I've signed in like 10,000 times it feels like and nothing! I'm very frustrated!!

short circuiting
The way I have to log in in order to have no problems is to click the little "log in" at the top left corner rather than the main log in area on the home page.
That seems to work for me every time - not that the page looks any different, mind you but for some reason, if I use that process it works without a problem.

You may have two accounts, one of them will have to be deleted.
If you are able to post on the board but you are not logged in to the rest of the site, then you are not actually logged in properly. I apologize, it is a problem created by the site, not by you. Please double click on the home button; this will either log you out altogether or take you back to the main part of the site where you will see "log out" in the upper right corner. Click this and log out of the site. Then clear your cookies and temp files. Reboot your computer and you should then have no problems. The best way to log in is to do it from the two line log in box on the home page, and it is always a good idea to log out from the welcome page, or any of the pages on the home part of the site.

Where / how do I see whether I have created two accounts?
My user name uses a "_" but I can log in without any problem from my work computer just not from my home computer. I will check whether its the cookies problem..

If you are still having problems you can send me a PM with all the email addresses that you may have registered with on the site, or any and all user names you may have used. I can then search and see if you have multiple accounts, and I can delete the ones you don't use.

Hi rosey
In response to the Oriental Dance.net situation, I just went into my setting to change my password. Now I can't log in. Help!
