why does my Forum Signature keep disappearing?

this is the second time my Forum Signature has disappeared- just disappeared.

i've not done anything to my profile, so what's up? any tricks to keep this from happening again, or is it just a bug?


it's an especially royal pain b/c it's so hard to get it back:
godforbid you don't enter it correctly the first time b/c whatever d/n fit into that little box spills over into ?????? and you can't delete it so when you paste in the correct code, you get ****.
is there some trick to creating a signature easily?

okay, now the signature is working but i had to paste in the correct code twice before it would get rid of the fragments of the bad code.

oh for crying out loud! mine's gone again! WTF?

ETA: i checked my profile settings: all the code is gone AGAIN except for the separator line.

i guess i just have to save the code in a document on my hard drive so i can paste it in regularly.

I'm traveling this week and won't have time to look in to this, but will take a look next week.

thanks, obviously, it's no big deal, i'm just in a zero tolerance zone re computer issues.

Actually I had trouble with it disappearing any time I made an update to my profile. So I pasted a copy of the code in another (used) part of my profile for safe keeping. I don't like having problems either and I know all about computer issues since I am on a computer all day long.

is it okay to keep the link in my signature even though it doesn't link back to bhuz?

I experienced the same thing. And I realized I had not done this yet for you after doing a search for this problem and reading this post. It should be on my web page sometime tomorrow Rosie.
