Search doesn't work

No matter what I search on, it always comes up with no matches. Even when I search on something that I know has a match

Seems to be working fine for me on the straightforward search function. Have you tried the Advanced Search option?

Can you tell us exactly how you're using the search function? Are you using the popup 'search forums' simple search box? Or advanced search?

Can you type some text on this thread exactly as you've put it in the search box?

Then we can play around & see if we can duplicate what you're getting & see what's causing it.

I must be clicking on a different search link now and now it is working - before when it didn't work it took me to a page that asked, among other things, for me to type in the letters from one of those pictures that has difficult to read letters. Now it just opens the box that you type your search phrase in and click Go. Can't find where I was clicking to get the other search page up. Thanks anyway

That happened because you were using the search function but you weren't logged in to the site.
