Groups Moderators

Hi Rosey,

I've noticed that as a moderator of a group I have little control in moderating. Shouldn't moderators of groups have the power to moderate? delete threads, delete inappropriate comments and so forth? I've notice the only control I have in group is what I post....

On a related note-- I apologize if this has already been mentioned or if I'm just being a dummy, but...

I created a public group, but I've gotten a couple of messages from people saying that can't see how to join. The only way I can seem to invite someone is if they are in my friends list. Any thoughts? Thanks!

If you go to that person's profile, in the Contacts box there is an option to invite them to join a group. Click on that & select which group you're inviting them to join. That sends them an invitation, with a link to the group. They can either use the link in that invitation, or go straight to the group, where there will be a message saying they have been invited to join, and they can click the Accept button.

Take a look at all the options you get when you edit your group, such as public forum, invite, etc. Make sure they are all turned on to allow lurkers to join; there is a way to let people join freely without an invite.
