I can't seem to enter comments on blogs. I type my comment into the box, I click the "submit comment" button; everything I just typed vanishes and I get a red message with a (!) that seems to be telling me I haven't got any comment there to submit. Am I missing something?
(I hope this is not an intellegence test and I'm failing!)

Are you using a Mac? This website, and many others, does not show up will in the Mac Safari Browser. There are several discussions of this in the Problems forum. We recommend Firefox for your browser.
