Just a little review for all intrested in this DVD.

First, let me mention that my DVD arrived only 3 days after I ordered it.

Things I liked:
The production quality is excellent. The set is simple and big. I really like that Michelle uses a mirror so I can see the front and back of the movements. The drills are incredible. She goes through strengthing drills, hip drills, ribcage drills, layering drill and finger cymbal drills. There is also a fun choreography that uses the drills in a fun way, rather that just standing there drilling. These drills are challenging Michelle has a wonderful personality that keeps you motivated throughout the DVD, and evens gives props to Suhaila and Aziza. It's 115 minutes, which is a great amount of time for me, and what I've been aiming for in my personal practice time.

Things I didn't like:
This is just me, but I'm not the biggest fan of voice overs. I think there is a more personal feel when your being guided by the teacher as they go along.
I wish there were more arm drills. I was hoping for an option where you could just play the drills and skip the introductions (but hey, thats what the skip button is for!)

I really enjoyed this DVD and thank Michelle for such a wonderful practice companion!

YAAYY!!!
My DVD arrived very quickly - thank you, Michelle!!
I tore it open and sat down with it immediately. And stood up just as quickly!! To ACTUALLY DO IT!!! I have a few instuctional DVD's, and, sadly, some I have watched but NOT been inspired to use as a practise tool. This one I used and will continue to use.
The drills are really good - teachers could use them in class and if you are practising at home you will absolutely benefit from the drill routines. They are both standing in place and travelling. And NOT easy. For beginner zill users this DVD is totally cool!! (For me, terrified of zills as I am, yes, I am very ashamed, I am delighted with this DVD)
Michelle is clear and consise, as she is in the other DVD's I have of hers, and dosn't 'rave on'. The quality of production is great and I like the mirror relationship. Easy to see. There isn't any fancy (and annoying) creative camera work to contend with and Michelle's movement is clear and easy to follow.
This DVD, like the other's Michelle has produced, is really worth buying. I highly reccommend it for beginner and intermediate levels. Michelle reminds us that even as we reach more advanced levels the basic drills must not be neglected. She has reminded me (I am not advanced) that I have badly neglected my own drilling this DVD is AWESOME as a drilling companion.
I am totally pleased with this DVD!!
