I have emailed them twice over the last 3 weeks and had no reply. Now I now they are much in demand but I have bought from them in the past and never had NO communication even though I have had to wait for my goods. I never minded as they always warned me how busy they were>
So is there a problem?
Are they not taking international orders?
Is it just volume of work?
Should I just wait patiently or try again. I wanna a beledi dress for the autumn so.....

I would phone them. That's very unusual they didn't answer your email.
I suspect an email problem.

I have a friend that ordered a skirt at the end of March and was told that they were very busy and Lora asked if she was in a hurry, my friend said no and Lora said it would it would take three weeks. Friend said fine.

Four weeks came and went. Friend called and was told that they hadn't started her skirt because they were swamped getting ready for Cairo Carnivale. Friend said she needed the skirt and she had waited long enough. Lora agree and was going to put a rush on it... I haven't heard if she's gotten it yet.

I know it's an international call for you, but I agree phoning is better with lrose.

I have ordered twice, both times ordering multiple items. Not only have they been WONDERFUL about assisting me in getting perfect fitting and perfectly made garments, they actually overnighted my last order on their dime because there was a delay in shipping. I agree with the other ladies...call...this must have been an email issue...

Took 4 weeks or so to get my order, they are very swamped and Shoshanna just had a baby, which has impacted how quickly they work.

my students & i have ordered recently. i got my pants in 4 days counting a weekend. my student got her set in about 2 weeks. tina

I'd call to b/c it sounds as if she might be having email problems.

Right now we're VERY busy!!! We'd like to advise you, as we always do,
that we make your items just as quickly as we can, but orders take time. Therefore:

Please measure carefully and allow AT LEAST 3-4 weeks for delivery.
There is a $10 rush charge on all orders needing to be filled more quickly.

I just got two orders from them last month for troupe costumes. Several calls and emails were exchanged. Usually they were very quick about getting back to me, and they were SUPER fantastic about my questions and some changes to my orders.

There was a call or two that they didn't return for a while, I chalked it up to them being busy. I'm sure it's not intentional. I would definitely try calling them.

I would call them. They are busy and yes Shoshanna did judt have a little cutie. I ordered in March and April, my items came pretty quickly but I called them in instead of emailing. I love her stuff. Good luck.

That was my best guess too..email problems and they are swamped..I've always heard nothing but good things about LRose ..so keep trying :)

I'm so glad to hear that things worked out with L. Rose Designs.

I've ordered from them a few times and any time I was concerned about something they have always replied to my question. I haven't used e-mail to contact them, I've always called them.

They've answered the phone past 5 PM and they have even called me back right away if they needed to check on my order. In fact, I called last night about an order I sent in which they received the first part of May.

I highly recommend L. Rose for quality of workmanship and customer service. Never have I ever had a problem with them.
