I just bought a pair of these in navy blue: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=011

They're really cute, and VERY comfortable. I wish I would have read the description more carefully, because I didn't notice that they're designed to rise all the way up to the waist, and I didn't notice that the length is capri length rather than full length. (Or at least, that's where it falls on me.) The info was all in the ebay listing, so I blame only myself for not paying enough attention, and I gave the seller positive feedback. So, they're not 100% what I wanted, but I like them enough that I'll keep them and wear them anyway.

Anyway, they're so comfortable they'll be nice for lounging around the house as well as going to belly dance events and such. The design is also good for hot weather because the loose fit allows almost as much air circulation as a skirt.

Speaking of cool pants....

Okay, I'm awakening this thread because I saw something posted on the Melodia tribe that just HAD to be posted here too: http://www.rathergood.com/your_pants/

It's a music video, "I Like Your Pants"

Hee! So anyone ( Lauren?) bought these jeans?
http://www.dancewearsolutions.com/de...category=Pants

My itchy trigger finger is ready to buy but I'm curious if anyone else has these, or if there's another kind of sassy dance jean you'd recommend. I'm kinda over the exaggerated bell-bottom look and want something to wear for this funky drum solo choreography I just made up.

I just watched the 'I love your pants' clip from earlier in the thread. Have you Americans being playing a joke on us all along? The clip clearly shows in pictorial form 'pants = underwear, when all along you've been pretending that 'pants' and 'trousers' are the same in your language. Ha ! Caught you out !

Also, that kind of nasal whiney folk singing is my personal pet hate.

Well, my trigger finger went for it, so we'll see how the jeans look on me. I couldn't tell if they were a low rise or not. As long they don't choke all the food out of me I guess it'll be okay. There are a couple numbers in our upcoming recital that call for cute pants and I wanna be unusual ( how.. unusual of me, ha hah)

ETA: The jeans arrived today and they are hot!
Husband: Wow. Could those jeans be any tighter?
Me: I hope not.

I'll post pix of myself wearing them with a bedleh get-up at some point... can't wait to bust them out at our recital in a few weeks! Hopefully I won't be busting out of them either, ha ha

Re: cool pants.

Finally ordered and received Desert Dancer Imports pants. I love them! They're very comfortable, they fit amazingly well and they're way cool! Absolutely recommend them, and it was a pleasure doing business with Donna, as well!

Re: cool pants.

I went with medium 32" length which turns out to be perfect for me, comes down to the floor without the risk of stepping on them.
