How to get Aneena's Double Veil DVD

Many people, including myself, have tried to order this DVD through the Jewels of the Nile website but never received a response.

Thanks to our own Bhuzzer, Monica, I was able to get in touch with Aneena herself last week, and she gave me her contact information for ordering the DVD. She has not had internet access for some time -- her business partner is supposed to handle e-mails -- and she was really unhappy to hear that people had not been receiving timely responses to their messages.

If you're interested in ordering her DVDs (she's also coming out with a single veil instructional soon), you can call her at 415-892-2027. She is really sweet, and I'm sure she would be glad to hear from anyone who has been put off by the website.

Aneena is sweet, helping, and queen of the double veil! I hope you get her DVD soon -- I just love her--I get to see her perform here in the Bay Area Have fun with your veil work -- PS, Jes' Akai silk (little wings) would be great if you're just starting to work with double veil. Tanya SF

I ordered the double veil video a long time ago and I received it quickly.

Aneena was so sweet, she even wrote a note to me and sent it along with the video.

Double veil can be done with rectangles, but it's more difficult to use rectangles than circles. I stick with half-circles.

This is areally awesome and thoughtful that you posted this. About 3 years ago I too tried a couple times to order the DVD and never received a response. Luckily she had it at Rakassah East and I was able to buy it directly from her. It's a wonderful DVD.

Does she have an email address as well? I'm in Australia and would rather try contacting her that way than phoning... otherwise can someone tell me what state she lives in so I can check the time over there before I call - would hate to wake her up!

Hi!

Email is not a reliable way to contact her. She has an email address, but it is shared, and she told me that she just does not get on the computer too often. She was very clear that phone calls are the best way to reach her!

She is in California, Pacific Standard Time (GMT - 7).

thanks for the info. i wanted to order some veils from her after taking her workshop here. i didn't buy them there because i didn't have the funds. i figured it would be easy to just get one on line but it wasn't and no one else seems to make half circle rolled hem silk veils.
