I'd add that it's not regular filament size fishing line, it's major heavy gauge "fishing line"- like you could pull in a swordfish on this stuff...or a hot guy...I guess it depends on what you like to fish for.

not having fished before... ever, I didn't think to add this. I thought all fishing line is the same.
