need good veil dvd list ..and songs

Does anyone have a list of good instructional veil videos? Both single and double would be great.

Also a list of songs that dancers like for dancing with veil..am needing to update my own list..

Just throwing a few things out here -- Aziza and Amaya have good veil DVDs. Many of Fahtiem's albums have beautiful dreamy songs for veil work.

I'd also like some modern veil song recommendations. I normally use Bir Dimet, Erev Shel, etc but I got used to dancing to them live and don't like them when dancing to CD. So which songs do you like for veil??

Light Rain's "Dark Fire" is one of my favorites. So is Saroyan's "Agonia". My very favorite right now is buried in the middle of a 15 minute routine I put together and cannot remember the name of it right now.

They say the brain is the second thing to go, and I can't remember what the first was...

Oh, and Desert Wind's "Kali-Ma" album has some classics for veil - I particularly like "Isis", but so do a LOT of other dancers!

If you like Desert Wind, you'll like Fahtiem's CDs. They're on iTunes. Other CDs with songs I like for veil are Omar Faruk Teklibek's Fire Dance, Mosavo's Serpent's Garden, and some of Cirque du Soleil's stuff. Have fun!

If you can get a hold of 3Spell's Music for Ultra Gypsies, that has some very veil-worthy music on it.
