Saad CD (Fifi shaaby one)

Yesterday I finally got the Saad CD with the two songs from the Fifi workshop. The CD is called "keset Elhai Elsh3by"

It has the Hantour song, about the carriage ride, which is just SO addicting!

There are 7 other tracks as well, all lively & fresh-sounding, ranging from 2:45-4:10 minutes, so a great length for audience participation or hafla shaabi performances. I don't know where to find translations for the others, though.

One track is called "Orkosy We Rakasana (El Duma We El Taka)"

Is 'Rakasana' plural of 'Rakasa?" Can anyone translate Orkosy? He's clearly talking about dums & teks in this song, and it's SO cute & has nice drummy bits.

where did you get the cd? Its not the same as the Saad - Prince of Sha´abi - is it? I really like it

I got it from Andrea, at her open house. See the last sentence of the original post for her contact info & pricing.

It's not the same as Prince of Shaabi, same artist, different CD.
