Leila Haddad's videos

Hi all!
I'm a big fan of Leila Haddad, but I can't seem to find any videos of her performances. Are there any at all? Where can I purchase them? Leila's website doesn't have any information regarding her video recordings.

Leila doesn't usually allow herself to be video'd. As far as I'm aware there is only one very short piece of footage of her dancing, on an old documentary, which I don't remember much about because I don't have a copy and I only ever saw it once, at Summer School.

I'm a huge Leila H. fan. You're right about her not wanting to be video'd. She stopped her performance at Rakkasah East last year because someone was videoing her.

That's too funny!

I get so upset when people videotape other dancers without their permission. In this day and age, you totally lose control over what is published and where. What a horrible disappointment for her to stop dancing, but you've got to give it to the lady for putting her foot down!

All I've ever seen is the clip I posted above. I've bought all her CD's though, and that is enough for me to be really interested in seeing her dance! Every song on each of these CD's is just so yummy and earthy...
