Adrienne, thanks so much! I have three primary places on my site that link to Amazon - one each for books, music, and videos. Each of these is lists a whole bunch of items that would be relevant for belly dancers, with a link to the page where Amazon sells the item. If you pick the link for any product on that page, once you get to Amazon you can go up to the search box and search for whatever it is that you REALLY want.
It costs me about $1,000 per year in actual expenses to keep shira.net going. Half of that is fees paid to the hosting company, and the other half goes for miscellaneous stuff like upgrading the software used to manage the site, etc. The Amazon and Cafepress links are the only source of funding that covers these costs. I realize I could sell ads, but that would take time and effort to administer, and I just don't have time to deal with that. Fortunately, Amazon generates enough to make it break even.
