Clearly it didn't get fixed over last weekend, but it is also clear that Rosey is not ignoring the people who have said they had issues.

I figured I'd post the above quote from Rosey, since from the tone of the recent posts it looks like Rosey's acknowledgement of the problem got lost in the shuffle, and people were fealing like she was ignoring the problem or trying to pass it off on to end users.

I refuse to use another browser because I don't want to. I can use Safari fine for everything else and I already have IE on my iBook. If I can't PM and I can't send private messages, fine. It sucks but I never could do that before on the old Bhuz, either. Apple users get used to stuff not always interfacing w/o a lot of monkeying around.

i agree. i use firefox and it is still slow on mine, and i use wireless internet which is usually fast. sometimes all my links stop working, and everything stops functioning so i have to close my browser and reopen. firefox isn't the fix, there must be something else. and i agree again WHY does there have to be a flash banner. i despise flash because of the lack of functionality. there are some reasons to use it, but not many, and this is definitely not one of them in my opinion. sorry to hear so many people are having problems! for the most part it works well, but i also experience the slowness, and the lag time in typing messages.

I am a usability expert on web design and have to say that I am rather disappointed in the new look and feel. Flash is known to cause all kinds of networking issues (DH is a networking and security expert).

Now, as primarily an entertainment site, this would be fine, but, if you want to be a communications medium, this is bad usability. And will end up driving users away. There is a reason that the most successful sites use graphics / flash/ fancy graphics minimally if at all.

I'm sorry everyone is having their troubles. I am going to dissent and say I like the stars. Of course, (bragging here) I have a new fancy, super duper fast computer on dsl.... I've had no problems while on bhuz.... I also enjoy bells and whistles....
