New here, and wanting to sell a costume. Tips?

Hi, all. I'm new here, as it says in the subject line. A while back, I danced for two years, bought a pretty expensive costume, and then quit dancing because of a bad troupe experience. However, now, two years later, I have found a new troupe, but I have gained some weight, so I don't fit the costume I bought. Wanting to sell it, and I have been purusing the Swap Meet forum, but I wondered if there are any specific rules or guidelines I need to follow. I read through the Sticky in the Swap Meet forum regarding suggestions for rules, but none seem to be hard and fast so much as discussion. So, is there anything I need to know about selling here before I post?

It's nice to post some good photos, especially of the costume being worn, but it's not required. People like to see close-ups of the beadwork and they like to see how the costume looks on a human being.

People like to know the measurements, bra cup size, hip size, skirt length, etc.

As long as it's your personal costume and you are not a retail business, post it in the regular swap meet forum.

I'd say, just look into some threads where other people offer costumes and you will see pretty fast what they write.

Pictures are a must as are exact measurements.
