can someone tell me what time zone this is?

I live in Washington state and I am trying to figure out what the time zone is on this site. I seem to miss all the good swap meet posts. right now my time is 10:45pm but my post will say it's 7 hours later.

What's the deal?

Re: can someone tell me what time zone this is?

I think it's the Middle East.
Time here in Florida for me is 2:36 A. M., and it's 9:36 A.M. in Egypt.
The World Clock - Time Zones

Nope I'm wrong, when I posted this it says 6:28 A.M.

Casablanca, Morocco is in this time zone.

Click on the "Quick Links" arrow up there to the right. Select "Edit Options" from the drop-down menu. Towards the bottom you can select your time zone.

One thing to note, regardless of what timestamp is on the post itself, posts in the swap meet are immediately visible to everyone on the site as soon as they are posted. People are posting from all over the world, so catching something on the swapmeet comes down to just being here at about the same time as post goes up, regardless of timezone.

Re: can someone tell me what time zone this is?

You're right but sometimes someone i am posting tells me to check back in the morning and i sit here and think, "My morning or theirs?" haha. Thanks for showing me how to change the time. This is much better now

Thanks! I saw it on my Susan Branch calendar, of all places, and had to have it.

You're welcome! I'm sure I learned it from someone else on Bhuz - can't remember. There's all kinds of neat stuff hiding under all those arrows up there.

When in doubt, I would assume theirs. After all, your morning may not be a particularly important time of their day (especially if it's in the middle of their night! )
