html tags
I'm not a computer person, really, so, I'm trying to do the HTML tags to have my website linked on my profile page and on my signature, and it's not working.
Yup, followed directions, and still didn't work, I am sure it's something unbelievably simple I am doing wrong ?
Can any bhuzzers send me an idiot-proof instruction?
thanks!

I don't think we can currently make a link in our signature. It would be nice if we could, though I am very glad we can't put pictures in our signatures.

Are theirs actually in the signature section below the little horizontal line, or are they adding the link to the end of their message?

it's actually in the signature line. There's a link on profile page to show you how to do it with the html tags, I'm just stupified at it, tried it, didn't work for me.
*sigh*

Can you point me to a member who has a working link in their signature? I haven't seen any yet. Zorba and Nikkidancer both added their links to the end of their message, their automatic signatures aren't working links.

Aha! I went ahead and tried real HTML, instead of BB code, and it worked!
You'll need to type:
< a href="http://www.example.com" >Example< /a >
(except without the extra spaces inside the < and > )
