Ok if I go into my settings, and changed my name kinda thing (login stays the same). Like on myspace, I can be sumaya one day then raks sumaya the next then, beledibabe another day...?

The name that appears above your avatar, and on your profile page, is the same as your login, and the only way to change it is to start a whole new account.

I don't like names being able to change, like on Tribe. Makes it reaaaally hard to find people! Especially when the friends lists are not searchable by any usable criteria. If my friend Suzy decides she is going by Hoo-Hoo-Happy-Pants today, I can't find her profile.

Hi Rosey,
Yes, I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with my name change.
So at the same time the name change occurred, my background image did not return (colours remained, just no image), and I lost gifts (I got new ones, now ;0)) but I lost previous ones. Are they related? Was there a shift in the Matrix?
