Displaying pics in a post

I know there has been a thread on this before, but I can't find a current one, and all I know how to do is put a link to a pic in, not the actual picture. Help!

There's usually an icon in the range at the top of the posting window, like a picture of the pyramids in yellow. Click on that & you'll get a prompt to add the URL of the picture.

[ img ] your picture here[ /img ] this should do it. Just take the spaces out from inside the brackets.

even when i do that half the time it shows up as a link. strange

Click on the 5th icon from the right just above the box where you write your post. It is a little square with a pyramid in it. You may at first get a query that asks you to allow scripted windows. Say Yes, and then you have to click the icon again. You will get a box where you put the URL of the picture. That should work.
