I was really looking foreward to the live chat feature. Is there any chance of that being offered again?

Thanks for asking! Live chat is a feature that will be turned on at some point in the future. I can't give you a definite date yet. It will appear under the new "feature" section of the lower navigation bar. We had to make some adjustments to the nav bar, so it lost its spot for the time being.

Do you have any plans on how it will work, i.e. being able to see who is currently logged into bhuz and able to invite them over to chat?

Yes, that is how it will work. You will be able to see topics of conversation in the various chat rooms, and join in.
