Banning shady business bhuzzers?

Hi Rosey,

It is possible to ban a bhuzzer who has proven to be unreliable/ shady but who advertises their business through the swap meet boards? I don't want anyone else to get ripped off. There are a few of us on bhuz who have been burned by this individual.

Yes, don't hide it! If a person is shady I think it's fine to say, "This is what happended to me..."

I for one, think if they are posting on bhuz to sell merchandise, they are one of us and could be trusted. I would hate to have that trust violated.

Delayed shippings and refusal to answer emails in reference to why the merchandise has not been shipped is bad business ethics. I have ordered from overseas before and have received my merchanidise within 2 weeks. Even if the merchandise if being ordered from here in the U.S. and being shipped to overseas, I can not imagine it taking more than several weeks if the merchandise is available (i.e. not ordering a costum made costume).

Refusing to answer emails as to why it is taking so long is totally unexceptable.

Yes, absolutely. I have put a new topic called Complaints right at the top of the Swap Meet forum where members can post complaints about sellers and buyers. This forum will be moderated, which means that a Moderator will have to approve the complaint before it gets posted to make sure that it is just the facts and that it is not abusive.

Let's try this as a start, and see where it goes. This means that if you are going to buy something, or sell to a member, check this Complaints thread first.

We will then see about expanding it with Compliments for good sellers. Let's give this a try and see how it goes.

Please give dispassionate documentation, even if you are really . No third hand stories, only first hand bad experiences.

Also, we are looking for a few ground rules about buying and selling so that a member who posts a complaint can feel that their complaint is reasonable. Any ideas out there for this?
