Location missing?
How come most profiles state the Bhuzzers geographic location (actual or fictitious...), but I seem to no longer have any way of indicating mine? I notice a few others too who have no location listed when they make posts. Are we just too international to categorize? On the old Bhuz I'm pretty sure mine said USA or something...

i miss knowing what state/city people are in. although there were plenty of blanks or Vatican Cities, it was nice to know where people were, and it helped to know where they're coming from re issues and to see who likely knows who IRL.
i'm thinking of the "how do you react to bad dancing" thread where someone (Lauren i think) noted that the SoCal dancers were very adamant in their opinions, which resulted in a conversation about regional standards. yes, if you're on long enough and read all the posts, you may figure out where people are from, but it was nice to know instead of guess.

I totally agree; I can't figure out why it works for some and not others. carolynn, have you edited your profile to put you somewhere other than afghanistan?
First try to get it fixed in your profiles -- don't forget to SAVE the account settings. If that doesn't work, send me your location info in a PM and I will manually add it to the database.

Carolynn, I just tried to send you a friend request, but it says your profile is 'closed and can't be viewed at this time.'
Guess that's all about national security, since you're in Afghanistan & all?

LOL! Well, I sent you a request, but I understand if you don't want to approve it.
Having a friend is going to ruin the little Dickensian image you've created there in your hidey hole...

Location problems
After some research we have concluded that if your location isn't showing up it's because you haven't set your location in your profile. Those of you who have tried to reset your location, or a password, and are getting an error message, have a duplicate account floating around in the system with the same email address. The system will not allow more than one account per email address.
If you are getting an error message when you try to reset an account item, please send me a PM with the username you want to keep, and your email address. I will search and destroy the other accounts.
