Just plain ol' emailing people

O.K. So I can receive PMs, but can't PM anyone because I'm one of those wierd safari users.

Is there no infrastructure for just having an email address listed in one's profile, if one wants? I have given my email address in my settings, but it doesn't show up anywhere in my profile.

Several people have PMed me and I can figure out no way of contacting them outside of posting a thread to the forum, which I don't want to do.

Any solutions?

It's fine for the performers & teachers & vendors, who want to be contactable, but a lot of people don't like to have their email address "out there", and there have been postings before from people who were horrified that their personal email details were in any way publicly available, on the old bhuz board.

You can email people if you click here in the forum on something they've posted...the little drop down box comes up and it says, 'send email to ssipes'. I don't recall seeing this before so it looks like Rosey and the team are super responsive (as always)

I'm not suggesting that it be mandatory, just wondering if its possible for those who might want it
