Hey everybody! I thought I'd give it one....last....shot. I'm looking for a set of bronze or brass Afghanis that could use some more zillin'. My teacher's big on zills so pretty quickly over the last year of steady practice I found that my little ole hands like the big whopping cymbals. I was lucky enough to find a set of German silver Afghani's at a dancer's retirement sale last summer and BUT they are really loud and just a hair too high pitched for class time (two of my classmates are hearing impaired and it does awful things to their appliances and ears). That and the neighborhood dogs start barking and howling in accompanyment to my enthusiastic practicing.
I think it's funny but soon after the yipping starts the owners start yipping too. Just trying to keep the peace here...if you have or know of any that need a new home let me know. I could go thirty five bucks on the brass, forty on the bronze, not including shipping. Thanks much!
