ISO nude mesh fabric
I need a little strip... not even a yard, maybe half a yard, to line some cutouts and make a modesty panel for a costume. Nude, suntan, coffee, anything close to a fleshtone would be great.
I found some on murielleroy.com, but shipping was going to be $7.50, that seemed outrageous to me!
Anyone have a bit on hand? Or know a good supplier?

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
Can I find this at my local fabric store? Should I just cut apart some support hose?

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
I'm at work but when I get home I'll look through my bins - I think I still may have some. Is it okay to just be mesh and not powernet?

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
I have some very fair colored mesh - you want 1/2 yard? PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
Anala tulle is not soft at all, it's like very thick and stiff lace. And I don't think it's very stretchy either, so not good for lining cutouts IMO.

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
Just got on this morning Anala but I believe rakkasah barbara is right on the tulle. I think of tulle as a fabric for bride's maid dresses.

There is one, but it's tiny, and I've never seen anything like nude mesh there -- swimsuit lining is the closest I've seen. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? I can't find it on their site, either, would it be called something else?
That would be so convenient if I could just go pick out what I want!

The store that I work at has power net, but I work at a larger "superstore". The fabric selection on the website has always been pretty pitiful. The easiest thing would be to call the store and ask them to look for you. Make sure you specify that you want stretch mesh not lining. They should hold it for you so you can go check it out without having to dig through the fabric.

Re: ISO nude mesh fabric
*happy dance*
You have to give me your paypal so I can pay you for it, and shipping. Or maybe I can send you a CD or some fabric or something fun?
